Abstract

This collection contains a typed copy of a letter to James M. Gill regarding business transactions; William Edgar of Detroit, Michigan states they were alarmed by a banditti (bandits) from Illinois who came to the Miami; some went to plunder the Indians of St. Joseph (1/8/1781). Original is in the Burton Historical Collection (Detroit Public Library).
